AMP™ – Advanced Modeling Package

AMP™ Advanced Modeling Package is a virtual drilling simulator for roller cone bit designs utilizes formation information generated from GeoScience and bit cutting structure designs from RCPRO™. It predicts how effective the cutting structure is at failing the rock based on input drilling parameters and variables from the bit designer. Operating parameter inputs allow the designer to virtually approximate ROP and cutting structure life in different formations and drilling conditions.

Features and benefits

Performance improvement
The RCPRO™ design files can be imported into our Virtual Drilling Simulator and evaluated for performance in various formations. The Virtual Drilling Simulator combines GeoScience and lithology information and allow a designed bit to drill virtually in formations based on the customer supplied formation files. The information gathered from the virtual drilling is then fed back into RCPRO™ to improve and tweak the design.
